The past few months have been something of a whirlwind for Jayson Tatum.
He was a key contributor to the Boston Celtics’ run to a championship and is generally regarded as one of the best players in the league.
Tatum was also named to the United States Olympic team, but he didn’t get much playing time.
Fans had mixed opinions about Tatum’s situation.
Some thought it was justified that he didn’t play much, and others were frustrated with his lack of on-court time.
Regardless of how the past few months have gone, Tatum is unbothered, seemingly going to the beat of his own drum.
As the Celtics on CLNS recently highlighted on X, Tatum got a tattoo that represented his first championship win.

It is an elaborate tattoo that showcases him holding the Larry O’Brien Trophy, an impressive accomplishment for any athlete.
Tatum is one of the figureheads for the new-age Celtics team, one that should compete for the top spot in the Eastern Conference for the foreseeable future.
Thankfully, the Celtics have done a great job surrounding him with great complimentary pieces, which sets him up nicely.
The NBA season might feel far away, but it’ll be back before fans know it.
Will Tatum and the Celtics find a way to defend their crown, getting back to the top of the proverbial mountaintop?
Or, will another team take over, ending the Celtics’ reign atop the league?
We’ll soon find out how well Tatum and his teammates will fare.
