One can describe Tatum’s current season in many ways right now but “cute” probably isn’t one of them.
Instead, the words “incredible” and “MVP-worthy” come to mind.
He is putting up 28.5 points, 8.8 rebounds, and 4.1 assists per game, shooting 51.6% from the field.
His Celtics are once again surging, partly powered by the impressive work that he does on the floor every single night.
They have a 9-2 record right now and reclaimed the top spot in the Eastern Conference.
For the last few years, Tatum has remained one of the league’s biggest rising stars and has garnered a ton of attention and a massive amount of praise too.
Last season, his Celtics went to the Eastern Conference Finals, and the year before they reached the NBA Finals.
This all comes at a time when the NBA is gaining popularity overseas, including in China.
Since he’s one of the most dominant stars in the association, it’s no surprise that he has earned so many followers in that country.
With the start that he’s had and the record the Celtics have, there is a chance that Tatum could earn a title aside from “Cute Bunny” at the end of the year.
He could finally be called “NBA champion.”
