For years, the Green Bay Packers dominated the Chicago Bears.
It reached a point in which Aaron Rodgers even claimed ownership of the organization, fueling the fire of one of the fiercest rivalries in all major sports.
That’s why it wasn’t much of a surprise to see Bears star CB Jaylon Johnson admit that Davante Adams is the toughest wide receiver he’s ever had to cover.

Johnson has been with the Bears since 2020, and Adams used to feast against them.
In 17 games against them, the Fresno State product has hauled in 88 receptions for a whopping 1,081 receiving yards and 10 touchdowns.
Of course, these numbers date all the way back to 2014, so it’s not like he put up those stats against Johnson alone, but he’s found plenty of success against him anyway.
Even so, Johnson got the best of him in their last matchup, as the Bears held Adams to seven catches on 12 targets for 57 yards.
Adams is one of the best and most dominant wideouts in the game, and he’s coming off a complicated season in Sin City.
The Raiders’ quarterback situation is far from ideal, and they might not be able to solve it in the foreseeable future.
That’s why some analysts believe it’s just a matter of time before Adams finds a new home.
As for Johnson, he could gauge plenty of interest around the league.
Then again, it seems like the Bears won’t even give him that chance and could place him under the franchise tag to keep him around for a little longer.
