With head coach Mike McDaniels implementing a winning culture and mindset, the Miami Dolphins have been a team on the rise in the NFL over the past couple of years, as it seems like the sky is the limit for his young team led by superstar quarterback Tua Tagovailoa.
Although the Dolphins get a lot of credit for having one of the best offenses in the league and showing case one of the best wide receiver duos in the game with Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle, Miami does have one of the best defensive players in the league as well.
Even though the Dolphins defense is not considered elite, Miami definitely has an elite corner in the form of veteran Jalen Ramsey, who’s first season with the team was cut short due to injury, but will likely make a considerable impact during the 2024 NFL season.
During an appearance on The OGs Show, Waddle, who recently signed a massive contract extension with the Dolphins, was asked who the toughest corner he’s ever had to go up against was, and he thinks Miami has that player in Ramsey.
“I think we got him,” Waddle said. “I think [Jalen] Ramsey.”

Ramsey only played in 10 games for the Dolphins last season after spending the past three and a half seasons with the Los Angeles Rams, where he won a Super Bowl title in 2020.
Despite playing in only 10 games, Ramsey still made an impact defensively, as he recorded three interceptions, five passes defensed and 22 solo tackles while still being able to make the Pro Bowl.
