The Boston Celtics are looking to capitalize on the great 2021-22 season they had and build upon it.
Indeed, they have their eyes set on nothing less than the NBA Finals.
While some people feel that the team belongs to Jayson Tatum, the Celtics are actually composed of multiple superstars.
One of them, Jaylen Brown, was feeling himself on Wednesday night.
Brown, who put up 24 points just a couple of nights before against the Charlotte Hornets, had a wonderful preseason showing.
He scored 12 points in the first quarter and ended up with 23 for the night, shooting 9-of-14 from the field in 27 minutes.

Fans across the web took note, including NBA writer Jack Simone who said, “Jaylen Brown wants to be in the MVP conversation.”
The game didn’t end in Boston’s favor but it was a strong night for Brown and proved that they really could enter the new season in prime form.
The Jays Have Returned
Brown and Tatum were again working side-by-side as they took on the Toronto Raptors on Wednesday night.
Tatum grabbed a double-double with 18 points and 10 rebounds, going 6-of-16 from the field.
However, he was lacking from downtown, only notching 2 of his 15 three-point attempts.
There were other stars shining bright in TD Garden, including Sam Hauser, who had 22 points and went 5-of-8 from beyond the arc.
He’s now 9-of-13 from three-point range for the preseason.
Malcolm Brogdon also showed he was a great get for the team and earned 9 assists for his team in 23 minutes.
All in all, the Celtics look to be working together in a smooth, strong fashion.
The entire team feels ready to go and prepared to have another stellar season.
