Although they lost the NBA Finals, things were looking very promising for the Boston Celtics in the season to come.
The team had every intention to keep all of its core players and add a few important role players.
That meant they had a real shot to make it back to the Finals and even win it all.
Of course, then a huge rumor popped up: the Celtics were willing to trade away Jaylen Brown – among others – to get Kevin Durant from the Brooklyn Nets.

That proposed trade never came to pass and Brown is still with the Celtics – for now.
Yet, some people imagined that Brown’s loyalty to his team would be tested because of that nagging rumor.
Apparently not because Brown looks all-in on his physical prowess and skills.
He was recently spotted working out in a pool, carrying weights down to the floor with him before jogging laps full submerged.
Even in the dead of summer, Brown is still working hard and improving himself before the new season starts.
So, fans of the Celtics have every right to still be hopeful about their team.
Brown Is Back
Working out underwater like Brown is doing can go a long way to work on conditioning, breath control, and endurance.
It might just look like a fun time in the pool but it’s incredibly draining and beneficial to the athleticism of a player.
Brown is already a superb pro and easily one of the best on his team.
That is exactly why so many people dreaded the idea of him being traded.
In the end, the deal to lose Brown fell apart because Brooklyn was asking for even more.
Followers of Brown breathed a sigh of relief because they don’t want to forfeit someone as great as him.
