Throughout the course of history, we’ve witnessed countless talented players dominate the National Football League.
The game is much more complex than some people realize, and it takes a lot to win in the NFL.
Nonetheless, quarterbacks continue to draw most of the attention, the praise, and the money.
Needless to say, it’s not easy to stand out from the rest of the pack as the most media-driven position in the game, let alone be one of the best to ever do it.
With that in mind, GQ Sports asked new Washington Commanders QB Jayden Daniels to share his top five quarterbacks of all time, and his answer was quite interesting (via Jay Daniels MVP).

At No. 5, he chose a niche icon and one of the most entertaining players to watch: Michael Vick.
Vick was Lamar Jackson before Lamar Jackson and perhaps the first legitimate dual-threat quarterback, although putting him at No. 5 might be a reach.
Then, he chose who most people consider to be the greatest pure quarterback we’ve ever seen: Peyton Manning.
Manning’s only stain on his résumé was the fact that he was only able to win two Super Bowls despite being a perennial MVP candidate and record-breaker.
He later gave Patrick Mahomes the nod at No. 3.
That speaks volumes about his dominance, as he hasn’t been around the game for that long.
At No. 2, he chose who most people considered to be the best until a couple of years ago: Joe Montana.
A San Francisco 49ers legend, most of the guys who came after him actually molded their game to his.
Last but not least, he chose the one and only Tom Brady at No. 1.
Brady might not be the most talented player on this list, and he was definitely not the most athletic, but he was the winningest, and that’s all that matters.
