New York Giants fans seem cautiously optimistic about the team’s outlook at quarterback moving forward.
After several years of frustration and inconsistency since Eli Manning retired, the Giants made a major investment in the second round of this year’s draft, selecting Jaxson Dart out of Ole Miss.
Dart wasn’t necessarily seen as a top-tier player heading into the 2024-2025 college football season, but he made a name for himself with some impressive performances throughout the year.
His combine and Pro Day efforts were highly touted, and the Giants decided to take a chance on him, hoping they found a QB who could stick around for the long haul.
While Dart has several impressive attributes, one of the most notable is his arm strength, which was put on full display in a recent video on X.
As B/R Gridiron showcased, Dart threw a pass from shore to someone on a jet ski that was seemingly over 60 yards away, and he nailed their hands with perfect accuracy.

To some, this could be seen as a gimmicky video that he’s just trying to get views on, but it is a great example of what the Giants saw in him.
A player who can get the ball deep downfield and give their receivers a chance to make a big play is desirable, and Dart will certainly have a chance to prove himself over the next few months.
He’ll have to contend with Russell Wilson and Jameis Winston for QB1, which won’t be easy, but it seems that he’s ready for the chance and excited to show what he can do.
