The Philadelphia Eagles and Indianapolis Colts will each enter the season with a huge chip on their shoulders.
Fortunately, barring an unexpected matchup in the Super Bowl, they won’t see each other in the upcoming campaign, as it’s become loud and clear that they don’t get along at all.
Even a usually easy-going guy like Jason Kelce was pushed to the edge during their joint practices, getting tangled up in a fight after an alleged cheap shot on RB Kenneth Gainwell, via Dov Kleiman.

Kelce is a respected veteran and not the kind of guy who would just get involved in a preseason scuffle, so something had to happen there.
Joint practices have been a questionable subject for years now.
It’s not unusual to see teams going at each other in practice, as the intensity is always at a high level whenever you’re playing against a rival.
There’s a fine line between being competitive and going over the top, and players will always stand up for their teammates.
That’s why plenty of people have advocated for the league to put an end to joint practices, as there’s not enough amount of discipline that would make professional athletes take it easy when they’re going against a rival.
It’s only a matter of time before these things escalate and we see a regrettable and avoidable injury because of a scuffle during joint practices.
And it’ll be interesting to see what a veteran like Kelce has to say about this incident.
