If you were a fan of the NFL this season, at some point, you heard the name ‘Kelce’ come up a time or two.
Jason and Travis Kelce have become two of the most popular players in the league, both for differing reasons.
Their podcast has quickly skyrocketed to the top of the charts, which has granted fans an opportunity to hear a bit more about their journey to become NFL players who happened to be brothers.
An Amazon Prime documentary also dove deep into Jason’s life, showcasing the type of person he is on and off the field.
One of the aspects of his life that was revealed, was his love for philanthropic efforts.
He has been a big advocate for the Philadelphia Eagles autism foundation, which was put on full display recently.
Kelce took place in a 5K run to fundraise for the cause, although he had an interesting reaction to the NFL’s FOX Sports page about this run.
In a follow-up tweet, Kelce indicated that “Ran” was a “generous verb for what occurred.”
“Ran” is a generous verb for what occurred. But we had a blast https://t.co/LafhJ4c99L

Kelce tends to poke fun at himself for being overweight, but as an offensive lineman, that is part of the job.
While he isn’t necessarily expected to run long distances very frequently, he is still in great shape compared to the average person.
Being an offensive lineman requires quick feet, a lot of thought and preparation, an overall sense of football, and an above-average IQ about the game.
There has been talk that he is slated to retire after this season, but that remains to be seen.
For now, fans are happy to see Kelce in any context, including a 5K run that is clearly out of his range of normal physical duties.
