The Philadelphia 76ers and Cleveland Cavaliers battled it out on Wednesday night during a preseason game that felt like a regular season one.
It was exciting, entertaining, and really enjoyable for fans of both teams.
This was a chance for followers of the 76ers to see a possibly improved James Harden.
For months now, Harden has been promising that he was going to be in fine form when the new season started.

He was showing glimpses of that on Wednesday night.
This was especially true when he left Cavs player Dean Wade on the floor following a quick dribble and crossover that looked like vintage Harden.
To make this play even better, Harden then nailed his shot, causing fans of Philly to get on their feet.
It’s been some time since we have seen Harden play with such a burst of energy.
So, has his new era truly started?
Don’t Hurt ‘Em, Harden
He’s been in the gym, he’s stayed in shape, he’s accepted an altered contract, and he’s even participated in acquiring new talent for the team.
Yes, Harden seems to be striving harder than ever before ahead of the 2022-23 season.
But some people have been wondering if this was all talk from Harden and if he would get back into his old habits and seem lacking and lazy at times while on the court.
So far, Harden is backing up what he’s said and looks to be ready to take on a new and improved role for his team.
They need that from him because the 76ers are poised for a great season that could let them go far in the postseason.
But that will only happen if Harden really does deliver.
