The NBA offseason has hit its slowest part of the summer when things rarely happen, and all basketball fans and players are counting down the days until the season gets back underway in October.
Although usually nothing substantial happens at this point in the summer, there are two superstars in the league that still don’t know where they’ll be playing next season, with each player requesting to be traded earlier in the offseason.
Ever since the NBA warned Damian Lillard and his agent to stop saying publicly that he’ll only play for the Miami Heat, it has been quiet on the trade front for the Portland Trail Blazers star, with no telling when that situation will get resolved.
As for James Harden, the plot thickened on Monday when the one-time NBA MVP openly criticized Philadelphia 76ers executive Daryl Morey during an Adidas event in China, sparking this reaction on Twitter from the veteran guard.

Harden absolutely blasted Morey during this trip to China, and he acts like nothing happened with all smiles in these pictures promoting the event.
It’s another strange chapter in the book of Harden’s career, which seems to keep taking turns for the worst, as he can’t seem to find a long-term home in the league since he left the Houston Rockets.
With Harden embarrassing Morey publicly, it’ll be interesting to see how the latter reacts and whether this pushes him to get the disgruntled star out of town quicker or if this gets even uglier down the road.
