The amount of impressive incoming NBA rookies is remarkable and it’s really hard to decide who will be the best.
Of course, everyone has their sights set on Victor Wembanyama of the San Antonio Spurs but several other stars are poised to have a great first season too.
That includes Scoot Henderson of the Portland Trail Blazers, who impressed during a preseason game a few nights ago.
Former NBA great and three-time Sixth Man of the Year Jamal Crawford definitely took note of Henderson’s performance.
“No fat on his game. Simple basketball!” Crawford tweeted along with a video of Henderson’s game.

During their game against the Phoenix Suns, Henderson led the Blazers with 22 points, 4 rebounds, and 4 assists.
Fans loved to see Henderson move with such speed and enthusiasm on the floor.
He looked like someone who was tuned in and ready to play and eager to start the regular season as soon as possible.
Of course, there was room for improvement in Henderson’s game.
His defense was a bit lacking and he shot 2-of-5 from the three-point line.
But he is still adjusting to the bright lights of the NBA and it’ll take time before he is performing like an All-Star.
Crawford knows a thing or two about what it takes to be great in the league so if he admires Henderson, that means something.
Fans of the Blazers are hoping he really lives up to the hype.
Now that Damian Lillard is gone, the team could be led by Henderson for the foreseeable future.
We could be entering the era of Henderson in the Pacific Northwest.
