The Philadelphia Eagles are back in the NFC Championship Game.
Nick Sirianni’s team entered the season down two veterans after Fletcher Cox and Jason Kelce retired, and there were several doubts about the head coach.
They shut down all the criticism and were one of the most consistent teams in the NFC.
That’s why they won’t take their foot off the gas at this point.
Even if the weather becomes a factor, Jalen Hurts doesn’t want to make any excuses.
Following their big win over the Los Angeles Rams, the Eagles quarterback shrugged off all concerns about snow or inclement weather (via ESPN).

That’s what one expects from a leader.
The Eagles will have their work cut out for them, as Jayden Daniels and the Washington Commanders will be tough opponents to get past.
They split the season series, and while the second outing had Kenny Pickett playing the bulk of the game as Hurts left with a concussion, the defense couldn’t find a way to stop the Commanders’ rookie.
Anything can happen in a playoff game, and the Eagles should be strongly favored to win this game.
Then again, it will require a massive effort from Vic Fangio and his talented unit to stop Daniels, who’s been fantastic in the first two playoff starts of his promising career.
Also, after taking down the No. 1-seeded Detroit Lions, the Commanders might feel invincible and like a team with nothing to lose.
