Things are looking up for the Philadelphia Eagles as they hope to improve from their Wild Card stint last season.
They have traded for Pro Bowl wide receiver A.J. Brown and teamed him with DeVonta Smith and Quez Watkins.
Likewise, their explosive backfield unit with Miles Sanders and Kenneth Gainwell is looking to dominate opponents.
The Eagles also had a fantastic haul during the 2022 NFL Draft with linebackers Jordan Davis and Nakobe Dean, who could end up being the steal of the draft.
While they’ve selected the players they need, general manager Howie Roseman has also stockpiled draft picks for 2023.
Those picks give them a chance to continually build their roster, especially if it turns out that Jalen Hurts isn’t the quarterback they are looking for.
It’s a tall order for Hurts to bring the Eagles deeper into the playoffs.
However, the front office has equipped him with the targets to succeed.
Therefore, he should take the next level and be the team’s definitive leader.
But while his performance so far is still subject to debate, this fact could sway the opinion about him for the better.
These guys picked up yards in bunches while showing off their speed. 💨

Impressive But Much Room For Improvement
The NFL released a graphic featuring the Top 10 Explosive Runners of 2021, courtesy of Next Gen Stats.
The ranking is based on the number and percentage of 15-plus mile per hour runs in 2021.
Hurts tops the list, six spots in front of Lamar Jackson.
Last year’s rushing yards leader Jonathan Taylor is second while Dalvin Cook rounds up the top three.
Yes, there is no question about Hurts’ speed, enabling him to turn broken plays into nice gains.
However, there’s much room for improvement in his passing game.
In his first two seasons in the NFL, his completion percentages were 52 and 61.3 percent, respectively.
Those numbers should be higher if the Eagles will reach the next level.
