The Philadelphia Eagles chose Jalen Hurts over Carson Wentz in 2021.
Will they choose someone else over Hurts in 2022?
The Eagles are in a unique spot because they have three first-round picks during an offseason where some big names could be on the move.
The list includes Aaron Rodgers, Russell Wilson, and most notably Deshaun Watson.
A trade package featuring a boatload of first-round picks could easily sway the Texans to take on Hurts in exchange for Watson.
But for now, the Eagles seem happy with their young quarterback.
GM Howie Roseman and head coach Nick Sirianni spoke with the media Wednesday and the former delivered a major vote of confidence in Hurts.

Roseman even made it clear the goal is to help Hurts develop even further into a great NFL quarterback.

This is great news for the young quarterback who is still only 23 years old and at the start of his career.
Should Fans Believe The Messaging?
This is the ultimate question.
The Eagles are not going to come out right after a postseason loss and say Hurts is not the answer.
He was playing on an injured ankle and it was clear all season he needed a little more help around him, both in terms of players and help from Sirianni.
Hurts still only has a total of 20 NFL starts to his name.
This is not a Wentz situation where he has been up and down for years.
The young quarterback also brings a great running dynamic to the Eagles offense that is tough to replicate.

The Eagles are just at the start of the postseason and have a ton of decisions to make.
It would be a shock if they used all three first-round picks, so expect a lot of noise surrounding the team this offseason.
If Roseman is to be believed, that noise will involve landing top talent to place around Hurts.
But those who are skeptical may not believe his take on Hurts until Watson finds a new home.
