The Houston Rockets have now been eliminated from playoff contention, which means this painful season is basically over for the struggling team.
But that doesn’t mean that players on the crew are going to stop going hard.
On Thursday night, Jalen Green was just one of the few Rockets stars who didn’t seem to care that his team wouldn’t be in the postseason.
This was especially evident in the fourth quarter when Green moved his way into the paint against multiple members of the Indiana Pacers and threw up a wild trick shot after being fouled.

In the end, the Rockets lost to the Pacers, 134-125 in overtime, but this moment was still a memorable highlight for Houston.
Green is one of several terrific players who proves that the future could be bright in Houston.
This is now his second season in the league and he’s gotten much better in a short amount of time.
He is now averaging 21.8 points, 3.8 rebounds, and 3.6 assists, up from 17.3 points, 3.4 rebounds, and 2.6 assists during his rookie year.
He’s not the only great athlete on the team.
Green has made close relationships with others such as Kevin Porter Jr, Jabari Smith Jr., Alperen Sengun, and others.
They are all wonderful young players but they lack the experience to get far.
It’s not clear what Houston’s solution to their problems are.
They might get lucky in the draft or they could possibly trade away some of this young talent for a more established star.
Many Houston fans are hopeful that whatever the future brings, Green is a part of it.
