The Jacksonville Jaguars finished the 2022 regular season with a 9-8 record, a far cry from their 3-14 season in the previous year.
Much of their improvement was attributed to Trevor Lawrence, who took a step forward in production.
As they look forward to the 2023 campaign, many have predicted that the Jaguars could take even more strides, resulting in a deep playoff run.
Calvin Ridley has been a breath of fresh air for the offense throughout training camp, and an added weapon for Lawrence.
However, according to Cameron Wolfe, head coach Doug Pederson reported that Ridley has a toe injury.
Jaguars HC Doug Pederson says WR Calvin Ridley has a toe injury. He will practice today but they will limit his running as a precaution.

The good news is that Ridley is slated to practice but will likely see limited work.
Ridley has suffered from lower body injuries in the past, including an ankle bruise and a foot fracture.
Whether this is just a minor setback or something more severe, remains to be seen.
If Ridley has to miss time, it could be detrimental to the chemistry he was building with Lawrence.
This offense has been seeking a WR1, and Ridley has proven he can handle that workload.
The good news for the Jaguars is that their division should be easier than in previous years.
If Ridley does have to miss a few games at the beginning of the season, the Jaguars should recover.
While they face a tough test with the Kansas City Chiefs in week two, their early schedule also includes the Colts, Texans, and Falcons.
Can the Jaguars continue establishing themselves as a top team in the AFC?
