Emmanuel Ogbah might not be with the Miami Dolphins anymore, but he’s not going far away.
If anything, he’s going to stay in the great state of Florida.
Shortly after the NFL Draft, the Jacksonville Jaguars announced that they reached a deal with the veteran defensive lineman.
The Jaguars will give him a one-year deal worth up to $5 million, according to his agent, Drew Rosenhaus.

The nine-year veteran will give Liam Coen’s team a boost for a pass-rushing unit that could use some more juice next to Josh Hines-Allen and Travon Walker.
The star defensive end tandem has combined for 46 of the team’s 74 sacks in the past couple of seasons, and while those numbers are impressive, there’s only so much they can do on their own.
Ogbah has made 123 career appearances, and he’s logged 112 quarterback hits and 47.5 sacks.
Standing at 6-foot-4 and 275 pounds, he logged 72 quarterback hits, 29.5 sacks, and six forced fumbles in 73 games over five years with the Dolphins.
He entered the league as a second-round pick by the Cleveland Browns back in 2016, and he logged 12.5 sacks in three years in Cleveland before putting up 5.5 sacks in a season with the Kansas City Chiefs.
The Jaguars clearly wanted to add more horsepower to their pass rush, and while they also took Auburn EDGE rusher Jalen McLeod in the sixth round of the NFL Draft, adding a strong veteran presence will also help their case.
Also, young star Travis Hunter should give them some help in the secondary.
