The Jacksonville Jaguars have completely overhauled their front office and coaching staff this offseason after owner Shad Khan was under a ton of pressure to do so after another disastrous 4-13 season.
The team hired Liam Coen as the new head coach after a heated back-and-forth with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
On Monday, the team announced another big hiring for the front office.
The Jags announced on Monday that they had hired Hall-of-Fame offensive tackle Tony Boselli as Executive Vice President of Football Operations.

Boselli will lead the front office and, along with Coen and Trent Baalke’s eventual replacement as general manager, ideally guide this franchise to better days.
It’s not a roster that needs a complete overhaul.
This offseason, it was seen as one of the NFL’s more intriguing head coaching destinations due to the presence of a long-term franchise quarterback in Trevor Lawrence, two-star young edge rushers in Josh Hines-Allen and Travon Walker, an explosive potential star rookie receiver in Brian Thomas Jr., a franchise left tackle in Walker Little, and a potential franchise cornerback in Tyson Campbell.
Many of the key positions are already filled, and Boselli will be tasked with filling in the gaps for the franchise that selected him second overall in 1995, the first pick in franchise history.
They got it right the first time, as he went on to make five Pro Bowls and three All-Pro teams, en route to being inducted into the Hall of Fame.
Boselli served as an advisor to Khan during the head coaching hiring process and has been a part of the team’s radio broadcast as a color analyst since 2013.
