The NBA season is over and there is no doubt that the Golden State Warriors are the best team in the league.
However, that doesn’t mean the squad is above some bickering.
This time, the back-and-forth is between Draymond Green and Ja Morant of the Memphis Grizzlies.
Morant recently commented on Klay Thompson holding a grudge against fellow Grizzlies star Jaren Jackson Jr.
Months ago, Jackson mocked the Warriors after a defeat and that has been on Thompson’s mind ever since.

Thompson even brought up Jackson’s words in a post-Finals press conference, leading Morant to tweet, “got a lot of real estate”, suggesting that Jackson was living rent-free in Thompson’s head.
That’s when Green hopped in, saying, “We traded that real estate in @JaMorant the property value was higher in Boston.”
Do the words of Green and Morant mean that we are seeing a new rivalry being born?
Battle For The Best In The West
The Grizzlies ended the regular season in second place with a 56-26 record.
Meanwhile, the Warriors were hot on their heels at 53-29.
Many people thought the Grizzlies had a good chance of taking down the Warriors in the Western Conference semifinals.
However, Memphis eventually fell to the Warriors – after a series injury sidelined Morant for the rest of the year.
The fact that Morant had to sit out of the last games against Golden State is causing many fans to wonder aloud if the Grizzlies could have won it all were he healthy.
Because of that, many eyes are now focused on the next season.
Both the Warriors and the Grizzlies will be able to battle it out again with fully healthy rosters.
May the best team win.
