The Memphis Grizzlies are without Ja Morant but that doesn’t seem to bother them one bit.
Their star player is currently out right now with a tweaked knee and will be re-evaluated in two weeks.
Despite not having their MVP-caliber lead player, the team is still doing serious work on the floor.
On Monday night, the Grizz took down the Golden State Warriors, 123-95.
That improves their record to 53-23 and 18-2 without Morant.
The young player took note of how stellar his team is with or without him and praised them on Twitter Monday night.
Everybody: The Grizzlies are 18-2 without Ja Morant this season ..
Me: 🤷🏽♂️😁

Morant has plenty of reasons to celebrate his squad, they’re setting themselves up for perhaps their best postseason in history.
And it looks like Morant will return right when it begins.
Five In A Row
Morant has been out for a couple of games now but his team hasn’t slowed down without him.
The team is in the midst of a five-game win streak and not only took down the Warriors on Monday but also conquered the champion Milwaukee Bucks just days before that.
That puts the team five games ahead of the third-seed Warriors and 8.5 behind the first-seed Phoenix Suns.
They are cementing their place as one of the best teams in the entire NBA.
A lot of this incredible playing comes from Dillon Brooks, De’Anthony Melton, Desmond Bane, and more.
They have been threatening on both ends of the court and moving with great speed and athleticism.
This is the opposite of teams like the Brooklyn Nets or Warriors, who seem to fall apart when their lead players are on the bench.
If Morant really does return in a couple of weeks, he will be re-joining a team that is ready to really make a huge splash in the playoffs.
