The Indianapolis Colts aced their toughest challenge of the season to date.
They were underdogs for their road game against the Los Angeles Chargers, and given that they had a relatively easy schedule to start the season, some thought they were a bit of a fluke.
That’s why, after watching them handle Jim Harbaugh’s team, former NFL superstar J.J. Watt took to social media to give the Colts their flowers.
“They look phenomenal,” Watt wrote on X. “The efficiency of their offense is just incredible. Never behind the sticks, always on the front foot, able to beat you in so many different ways. Run, pass, play action, screen. Colts O-Line should be an MVP candidate. [Jonathan Taylor] deserves more love nationally.”

Head coach Shane Steichen is the architect behind the best offense in the NFL right now.
They absolutely crushed one of the league’s best defenses, and the game wasn’t as close as the final score shows.
As Watt said, people are caught up in Christian McCaffrey, Derrick Henry or Saquon Barkley and may be overlooking Taylor, who’s having a much better season than those other star running backs.
Also, quarterback Daniel Jones is finally showing what he can do behind a competent offensive line and in the right offensive system.
The Colts were mocked when they signed the New York Giants’ first-round bust, but he’s looking like a true bargain.
The team plays in the somewhat easy AFC South, and after winning six of its first seven games, Indianapolis looks to be on its way to a playoff berth.
The Colts face the Tennessee Titans in Week 8, so they shouldn’t have much trouble keeping this up for a little longer.
