Superstar defensive end J.J. Watt recently announced that he’s retiring from the NFL after spending the last two seasons with the Arizona Cardinals.
As Watt adjusts to life after football and enjoys his time away from an NFL training camp, the future Hall of Famer is still as funny as they come and doesn’t hold back from blasting his former teammates when given the opportunity.
The latest teammate to suffer Watt’s wrath on social media is Zach Ertz, who recently threw out the first pitch for the Philadelphia Phillies along with his wife, Julie Ertz.
Watt took to Twitter to poke fun at his former Cardinals teammate for his bad first pitch in Philadelphia.
We have to get this scrubbed from the internet ASAP @ZERTZ_86
We cannot have people with lots of followers retweeting and sharing this.
Have you ever thrown a baseball before?! https://t.co/oSSFhMr4u3

Watt threw out the first pitch for the Houston Astros in the World Series back in 2017 while on crutches during his time as the face of the Houston Texans franchise.
Although Watt’s pitch wasn’t anything to brag about as it was just a bit outside, he was balancing on one leg under the bright lights of the World Series.
Ironically enough, it’s common to see professional athletes from other sports like football and basketball struggle to throw a baseball.
Ertz isn’t the first to struggle, and he certainly won’t be the last, as it will happen over and over again in the years to come providing pure comedy for teammates and fans.
It’ll be interesting to see if Watt gets asked to throw out a first pitch again in Texas or Arizona following these funny comments he made about Ertz.
