The Chicago Bears are heading into week 18 with nothing to win against the Minnesota Vikings.
With the team sitting at 3-13, playing their starters doesn’t help.
However, there’s a chance some starters might still play come Sunday.
But for them and the Bears franchise, it’s time to pack in the season.
A perfect reason for this is the health of their players.
#Bears QB Justin Fields was evaluated for a concussion but has been cleared to return.

With quarterback Justin Fields being evaluated last Sunday for a concussion, playing their starters isn’t worth the risk.
Despite being in a blowout against the Detroit Lions, they kept Fields and others in the game.
Fans see this move as a questionable one, as everyone has seen what happened to Tua Tagovailoa with his stint of concussions.
The Jaguars just took their quarterback and starting RB out in a blowout. Same draft class as Justin Fields. The fact that we’re playing our guy is unbelievably stupid.

While Fields might want that rushing record, it’s not worth risking his career over in a meaningless game.
However, some fans feel he needs more playing experience.
But one game won’t make a difference.
In fact, one game won’t make a difference with these other star players that the Bears have on their roster.
For them, they already know the system and missing the last game of the season isn’t something that will hurt them.
While some might want to see Fields break Lamar Jackson‘s record, his health is more important than the record.
With what happened in Detroit to him last Sunday, it’s too much of a risk to play him.
It’s time for the team to pack it in and look toward the next season in the NFL.
