Last season, running back Isiah Pacheco had a strong rookie year for the Kansas City Chiefs by rushing for 830 yards and five touchdowns while averaging 4.9 yards per carry.
He was asked to name the top-five running backs he has ever seen in the NFL, and his list had a couple of surprises, via NFL on CBS.
He named Barry Sanders, Adrian Peterson, and LaDainian Tomlinson as his top three, but after that, he mentioned the New York Giants’ Saquon Barkley and then himself.

Many would agree with Pacheco that Sanders, a 10-time Pro Bowler and six-time All-Pro First-Team selection, was the greatest RB of all time.
The Detroit Lions legend never posted fewer than 1,100 rushing yards in a season, and he led the NFL in that category four times in his 10-year career.
Peterson’s prime was a little shorter than that of Sanders, but he became one of just a handful of players to run for over 2,000 yards back in the 2012 season while winning the league MVP award that year.
Tomlinson was a fixture of the San Diego Chargers throughout the 2000s, and his 2006 season, during which he posted 1,815 yards and 28 touchdowns on the ground, was one of the greatest individual campaigns ever by any NFL player.
Barkley is still early in his career, but he has flashed some Hall of Fame potential, especially last year when he bounced back from multiple recent injuries to tally 1,312 rushing yards and 10 touchdowns.
As for Pacheco putting himself on his own list, he was either joking or flashing some narcissism.
