The New England Patriots are done losing.
They’ve always been used to competing at the highest level, and team owner Robert Kraft has let it be known that his patience is running out.
Fortunately for him, the team could be poised for a good old winning campaign again.
At least, that’s how Ben Volin feels.
In his latest column, he pointed out that the Patriots might be the most exciting team in all of football right now, adding that they could give the Buffalo Bills a run for their money atop the AFC East.
“I think the Patriots are the most exciting team in football this year,” Volin posted on X. “Buffalo’s the top of that division right now, but I think the Pats will be knocking on the door there, and the playoffs should be well, well within their expectations.”

That’s a bit of a hot take considering how this team has fared in recent years.
Then again, this isn’t the same roster by any means.
They spent big bucks in the offseason and, more importantly, they spent wisely.
They also added plenty of talent in the NFL Draft, and with Drake Maye set to take the field in his first full season as a starter, there are more than enough reasons to feel excited about this team.
Moreover, replacing Jerod Mayo with a proven winner like Mike Vrabel is also a big leap for this team.
The Patriots had dug themselves into a massive hole in the final stretch of the Bill Belichick era.
But for the first time in years, it looks like they’re finally heading in the right direction, and even if they don’t fulfill that prediction this season, it shouldn’t be much longer before they go back to their usual ways.
