The New England Patriots are one of the worst teams in football this season.
With a record of 2-8, all the talk around the team is about the coaching future of head coach Bill Belichick.
He is under fire for how poorly his team has played this year.
Many are speculating that this could be his last season coaching the Patriots.
Adam Schefter went on “The Pat McAfee Show” to discuss the future of Belichick.
He said: “The fact that this is even a topic is what makes it so interesting.”

Schefter did not give much of an answer about what might happen to Belichick.
But, their 2-8 record makes it very clear where the team stands.
There is not a more decorated coach in the history of the NFL than Belichick.
He led the Patriots to six Super Bowl titles and has been lauded as one of the greatest coaches ever.
But, even the best coaches in NFL history have been fired before.
Not all of the problems in New England should be blamed on Belichick.
They have one of the worst rosters in football and just about every coach would struggle to win games with this team.
But, since you cannot fire all of the players the coach is usually the one to go.
Belichick would be best served to find a new team with a better roster in place if he wants to continue coaching.
Many teams would welcome his services, which is why it makes the Patriots’ decision on him so interesting.
