The New York Jets are a safe bet to be aggressive this offseason after 2023 was a wash due to Aaron Rodgers tearing his Achilles on the first drive of the season.
Focus now shifts to improving the obvious major weaknesses on this roster, namely the offensive line and the wide receiver corps outside of Garrett Wilson.
Albert Breer of NBC Sports suggests Tyler Boyd and former Rodgers blind-side protector David Bakhtiari are two names to keep an eye on in free agency.

New York gave up 64 sacks last season and No. 2 receiver Allen Lazard posted just 311 receiving yards, so left tackle and wide receiver are clearly the two biggest needs for this roster.
The Jets have two current projected starters on their line at the moment in center Joe Tippmann and guard Alijah Vera-Tucker, who is also coming off a torn Achilles.
New York has also let tackles Mekhi Becton and Duane Brown hit free agency, so even if the Jets decide to draft a tackle with the No. 10 pick in the draft, that likely wouldn’t stop them from also adding one in free agency.
Bakhtiari was a star for the Packers but has had a ton of injuries in recent years, so it’s unclear what sort of production he can provide at 32 years old after having played only 13 games over the past three years.
Boyd would be an obvious fit and would be able to step out of the shadows of Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins in Cincinnati.
Boyd has played at least 15 games in each of the last five years and is still just 29 years old.
