The Brooklyn Nets have been fairly more competitive than some analysts expected.
Then again, not losing by a margin doesn’t mean they’re a good team.
They entered the season as a team to keep an eye on because of their veterans, all of which seemed to be potential trade candidates.
With that in mind, it’s not surprising that they could move on from Bojan Bogdanovic.
According to a report by Evan Sidery of Forbes Sports, Bogdanovic will emerge as a likely trade candidate once he recovers from a foot injury.
He’s a 39% career three-point shooter, so even if they don’t find him a trade suitor, he might find plenty of potential partners in the buyout market.
Bojan Bogdanovic is viewed as another trade candidate from the Nets, once he returns later this month from left foot surgery.
If Brooklyn doesn’t find value, Bogdanovic becomes a likely top buyout option for contending teams.

Bogdanovic has yet to suit up and play this season, but Sidery adds that he’s expected to be back on the court at some point this month.
The Nets are sliding in the Eastern Conference standings and have a long shot at making the playoffs.
They would be wise to keep recouping the draft assets they lost during the Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving era.
Besides Bogdanovic, multiple reports have also mentioned Dennis Schroder, Cam Johnson, and Dorian Finney-Smith as potential trade candidates as the deadline approaches.
The Nets need to get younger and build for the future, and that leaves the door open for proven veterans like Bogdanovic to take their talents to contending teams.
