The Washington Wizards are suffering yet another disappointing season so they are potentially contemplating making big changes.
But they aren’t going to trade away their biggest star for nothing and are reportedly demanding a lot in return for him.
According to Marc Stein, via NBA Retweet, the Dallas Mavericks are interested in adding Kyle Kuzma and the Wizards are asking for at least two first-round picks.

The Wizards are undeniably still a mess in 2023-24.
They are the 14th team in the East with a 7-35 record.
With the franchise in such disarray, it’s not surprising that they would be thinking about parting ways with multiple stars.
However, it is a bit shocking to see Kuzma on the trade block because he’s the brightest spot on the team’s roster.
This season, the former champion is scoring 21.8 points, 6.4 rebounds, and 4.3 assists on 45.5% from the floor.
Ever since he arrived in Washington in 2021 after his first four years with the Los Angeles Lakers, Kuzma has increased his output and become a better player and more of a team leader.
When Jordan Poole came to the team in the summer, some fans expected these two to run the team with discipline and determination.
Instead, the team is looking worse than it has in years.
Kuzma would definitely add something to Dallas’ roster but it’s not clear how he would fit in the already-impressive backcourt featuring Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving.
Do the Mavericks really need another shooter like Kuzma and are they willing to give up two first-round picks to get him?
If the Mavericks ultimately pass on Kuzma, there are plenty of other teams who would try to get him.
He has been working hard in Washington and improving his game and he could make multiple teams happy.
