The 2023 NFL regular season has been an absolute nightmare for the New England Patriots, with Bill Belichick and company seemingly unable to figure out a way to get this storied franchise back on track as a legitimate force to be reckoned with in the AFC.
From quarterback Mac Jones looking more and more like a bust to Belichick potentially coaching for his job for the rest of the season, the Patriots can’t seem to stay out of the headlines for all the wrong reasons, as New England appears to be falling apart.
Last weekend, the Patriots traveled to Germany to take on the Indianapolis Colts in a game that some suggested could be Belichick’s last as the head coach, which obviously added even more drama to the unusual road trip.
Along with all the buzz about Belichick, it appears cornerback Jack Jones had become a problem the team was trying to deal with, as he was put on notice about needing an attitude change.
According to Doug Kyed of the Boston Herald, Jones didn’t change his attitude and, as a result, was released by the team on Monday.
Patriots CB Jack Jones was given an opportunity to improve his attitude this week in Germany and didn't, per source. As a result, he was waived.

The Patriots selected the talented corner out of Arizona State in the fourth round of the 2022 NFL Draft with the No. 121 overall pick and hoped he’d be an important part of the defense moving forward.
Even though he had some solid numbers in a short amount of time, Belichick and company don’t mess around with players that don’t fall in line, which appears to be the case here.
