Minnesota Timberwolves fans haven’t seen much of Anthony Edwards this summer.
He hasn’t been posting on social media and has made very few public appearances.
According to Jon Krawczynski, that’s because he has been hard at work preparing his mind and body for the season ahead.
After all, he has very big plans for himself and his team.
“He has been off of the social media grid and working on his game. He hasn’t had any international play this summer for the first time in a couple of years, which I think has allowed him to buckle down. He was pretty forthright after the loss to the Thunder in the Western Conference Finals that he’s still got a big step to make to get to the level of a Shai, or a Luka,” Krawczynski wrote.

Edwards averaged 27.6 points, 5.7 rebounds, and 4.5 assists on 44.7 percent from the field last season.
He was once again an All-Star and All-NBA player and easily one of the most exciting stars in the league.
But he wasn’t happy with how the season turned out, and wants more.
Edwards went all the way to the Western Conference Finals against the reigning champion Oklahoma City Thunder, which is no small feat.
However, he isn’t content with just that and has his sights set on a championship and nothing less.
Edwards knows that he is the centerpiece of his team and the most important player in Minnesota.
If his Timberwolves are going to climb higher, they will need him to find ways to step up and lead more.
He is ready to do that and is putting in the work to make it happen.
