This has been a lost season for the Arizona Cardinals, who hold a 1-6 record and rank near the bottom of the NFL in multiple categories on both sides of the football.
Quarterback Kyler Murray has been out since late last season with a torn ACL, and Joshua Dobbs has been filling in this season while putting up some very subpar numbers.
Some have felt Arizona should sit Murray out for the full season and tank for University of Southern California QB Caleb Williams, but Murray has been a full participant in practice according to Ian Rapoport.

Recovery from a torn ACL can take up to a full year for pro athletes, but the technology behind the surgery and rehab for such injuries has improved over the years, and thus some athletes have come back in a matter of months.
Murray suffered his injury in Week 14 last season versus the New England Patriots, which took place on December 12.
He made the Pro Bowl in both 2020 and 2021, and one has to have some mild concern about how his injury may affect his speed and quickness, his two greatest talents, moving forward.
Murray has never been a prolific passer since entering the NFL in 2019, but he is elusive, and he can turn into a squirrel in the open field that is difficult to corral.
In 2020, he ran for 819 yards and 11 touchdowns, and the following season, he helped the Cardinals win each of their first seven games and make the playoffs for the first time since 2015.
