Brandon Miller of the Charlotte Hornets was looking red-hot at the start of his team’s first game of the season, but then injury struck.
After scoring 6 points in 11 minutes, Miller hurt himself and there have been questions and concerns about him ever since.
He’s definitely hurt but, according to Chris Haynes, he may be back soon.
On Friday morning, Haynes reported that Miller will be re-evaluated in just one week after sustaining a left glute strain.
That means the Hornets may get back one of their brightest stars soon and that could greatly help them in their quest of becoming playoff contenders again.

Before the season started, a lot of people wrote the Hornets off as a team that would fight to maybe even reach the Play-In Tournament.
Apparently no one informed Charlotte of that because they were terrific in their first game.
LaMelo Ball posted 34 points, 8 rebounds, and 11 assists, while Tre Mann exploded off the bench with 24 points.
There were a number of exciting aspects to the Hornets’ win, and now they just need to keep it up.
The loss of Miller for a considerable amount of time would have hurt them a lot but it sounds like he could be back soon.
This will be his second season in the league and last year, Miller posted an average of 17.3 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 2.4 assists, which was good enough to have him in the running for Rookie of the Year.
The Hornets have multiple up-and-coming players on the roster who could lead them into the future and Miller is one of them.
Thankfully, this injury isn’t too severe and the Hornets will get an update about him next week.
