C.J. Stroud has had an incredible rookie season for the Houston Texans.
Before Week 13, he led the NFL in passing yards and looked like a shoo-in for Offensive Rookie of the Year.
He is still the leading contender for that award but may miss at least one game after he suffered a concussion in Week 14 against the New York Jets.
Stroud hasn’t practiced all week, meaning his status for Week 15 will likely be doubtful unless something dramatic changes in the next day or so, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
Texans’ QB C.J. Stroud is not practicing today due to the concussion he suffered last week, meaning he has not practiced all week, casting doubt on his availability for Sunday’s game at Tennessee.

If Stroud can’t go, the Texans will start Davis Mills under center.
Mills completed 1-of-5 passes this past week for four games in relief of Stroud, and he has completed both of his other two passes on the season for 20 yards.
Mills has experience though – he started 26 games over the past two seasons for Houston and completed 63.6 percent of his passes for 5,782 yards, 33 touchdowns, and 25 interceptions during that span.
The Texans offense also recently lost offensive tackle Tytus Howard and wideout Tank Dell to season-ending injuries, though, and could be without receiver Nico Collins in Week 15.
That means Davis will play with a heavily depleted group of players in a potentially must-win game for Houston against the Tennessee Titans.
The Texans currently sit just outside the AFC playoff field but are still tied with current wildcard teams, so a win could push them back into the postseason with only a few games left on the season.
Davis might have to be the one that sends the Texans to the playoffs, though, if Stroud isn’t healthy enough to play.
