The NBA trade deadline is getting closer and a few teams could look very different after Feb. 6.
Which team will make the biggest changes, and who will benefit most from the deadline?
A lot can happen between now and then, and one NBA insider recently named a team worth watching.
“The [Sacramento] Kings have become the top situation to monitor ahead of the trade deadline,” Evan Sidery of Forbes wrote on X.
De’Aaron Fox’s comments earlier this week have reverberated around the NBA.

Fox has put the pressure on Sacramento. Will they respond with a trade?

According to Sidery, recent comments from De’Aaron Fox have “put the pressure on Sacramento.”
“Will they respond with a trade?” he wrote.
Fox recently sat down with Draymond Green on his podcast and suggested he wants to commit to Sacramento for the rest of his career but will ultimately do what is best for him and allows him to win.
He could soon be eligible for a huge supermax extension with the Kings, but will he want to stick with a team that cannot succeed like he wants?
Fox’s comments are indeed putting pressure on the Kings’ front office and may be pushing them in the direction of making a trade soon.
They need to build a powerful roster around Fox so the team can win, Fox can be happy, and the future of the franchise can become stronger.
If Fox doesn’t see something substantial from the powers that be in Sacramento, he may question how much longer he wants to stick around.
Losing Fox would be devastating to the Kings, so the franchise likely will try to do whatever it can.
The Kings thought they made the right move this offseason when they added DeMar DeRozan.
Though DeRozan has played well, the Kings are still middling at best and are currently the 12th team in the West.
Fans want more from the Kings, and apparently so does Fox.
