The Tennessee Titans made a shocking decision when they parted ways with HC Mike Vrabel.
There are rumors of a potential feud between him and the front office, as he reportedly refused to just play ball with the decision-makers and wanted to have a say on things.
Some believe they could’ve gotten something in return for him if they wanted to trade him, which is why the decision to let him go seemed even more rash.
But now that he’s gone, Adam Schefter of ESPN believes he’s going to draw interest from the Atlanta Falcons and Seattle Seahawks (via UNSPORTSMANLIKE Radio).
“I think he’s gonna generate interest in Atlanta. I think he’s gonna generate interest in Seattle,” Schefter said.
Things have been quiet around Mike Vrabel… is he a known candidate anywhere? @AdamSchefter wouldn't be surprised if Atlanta talked to him and he generated interest in Seattle. @EvCoRadio @ChrisCanty99 @msmallmon | @ESPNRadio pic.twitter.com/ycWH5sln9D

Schefter adds that teams already know what they’re going to get with Mike Vrabel, which is why he doesn’t expect to hear a lot of noise about him in this first interviewing process.
The Falcons have already met with Bill Belichick, who’s the odds-on favorite to take the reins of the team.
As for the Seahawks, they’re reportedly giving Dallas Cowboys DC Dan Quinn some strong consideration.
Even so, all things considered, and with so many job openings around the league right now, it would be kind of shocking to see Mike Vrabel go unhired in this coaching cycle.
Vrabel constantly overachieved with an average team and a below-average quarterback, and he only had two losing seasons during his days with the Titans.
He’s a strong-minded, hard-fighting coach who could do wonders to develop a winning culture and turn a team around, and it shouldn’t be long before the Titans realize they’ve made a mistake.
