The Dallas Cowboys had everything going in their favor to make it to the NFC Championship Game, at the very least.
Instead, their winning streak at AT&T Stadium ended in the worst possible way, with a loss to the seventh-seeded Green Bay Packers.
Curious enough, losing to the youngest team to make the playoffs since 1987 wasn’t enough to get Mike McCarthy fired, and while Jerry Jones vowed to go ‘all-in’ in the offseason, chances are this team will look mostly the same in 2024.
Notably, one of the main issues they need to address has to do with Dak Prescott’s contract.
Prescott and the team will soon start negotiations for an extension, one that would most likely make him the highest-paid quarterback in NFL history, at least for a brief period of time.
Nonetheless, Dan Graziano of ESPN believes his time in Arlington could come to an end.

Talking on Get Up, the insider claimed there was a world in which Prescott isn’t the Cowboys’ starting quarterback in 2025.
Prescott is coming off the best season of his career.
He was a leading MVP candidate for most of the campaign, yet he crumbled under pressure when the lights were the brightest.
Turning the narrative around about him won’t be easy at all, and he’ll just have to prove it in the postseason at this point.
That’s why he may not have many more opportunities to prove that he can lead America’s Team to their first championship in almost three decades.
