The New England Patriots look like one of the weaker teams in their division right now, and it would take plenty of Bill Belichick’s magic to change that any time soon.
But Robert Kraft’s team continues to look for ways to get better ahead of the upcoming campaign, and it seems like they might not be done making moves yet.
According to Sports Illustrated’s Albert Breer, the team could still be in the mix to add another body to their receiving corps, whether it’s a tight end or a wide receiver (via NBC Sports Boston).

Of course, this makes perfect sense for a team whose undisputed No. 1 and No. 2 guys figure to be DeVante Parker and JuJu Smith-Schuster.
Parker is very gifted and athletic but has struggled to stay on the field throughout his career, whereas JuJu has proven that he’s not cut out to be a primary option in an offense.
Mac Jones enters the season under heavy scrutiny and with a huge target on his back, not to mention the fact that it seems like Belichick won’t hesitate to pull the plug and bench him in favor of Bailey Zappe.
Having Bill O’Brien run the offense should help them fare much better offensively than last season.
The Pats get to face the Miami Dolphins, New York Jets, and Buffalo Bills twice this year, which will prove a difficult challenge unless they make some moves.
