The Los Angeles Clippers got a load of bad news on Tuesday night.
Not only did they lose to the Minnesota Timberwolves after giving up a huge lead, but Kawhi Leonard also exited the game early due to back spasms.
After injuring himself toward the start of the game, Leonard didn’t even return to the bench because of discomfort.
On Wednesday morning, Shams Charania spoke about Leonard on “Run It Back” and gave Clippers fans reason to be concerned as the team is about to embark on a road trip.
“Does Kawhi Leonard even make the trip, given he couldn’t even sit on the bench?” Charania asked.
"[Kawhi Leonard] left the game with back spasms…Clippers play at the Bulls Thursday, and then they play at the Pelicans Friday, does Kawhi Leonard even make the trip, given he couldn't even sit on the bench."@ShamsCharania updates on Kawhi Leonard's back injury.

Charania stated that much about Leonard and his next steps are up in the air right now.
A lot depends on just how well his back responds to treatment.
After he gets some help, the Clippers can figure out when he will be back with his team.
Sadly, Leonard being injured isn’t anything new, although he has stayed remarkably healthy all season long.
Fans are eagerly hoping that he only needs a couple of days off before he’s back in playing shape.
The Clippers are holding onto the fourth seed in the West right now, but they are only a couple of wins ahead of the New Orleans Pelicans.
They have now lost two games in a row and will be flying to Chicago and then New Orleans in the days ahead.
If Leonard is with the team during that road trip, it’ll be a very good sign.
And if he’s not, Clippers fans will really begin to worry.
