Philadelphia 76ers star James Harden continues his crusade to let everybody know that he’s not a fan of Daryl Morey.
Weeks after publically calling him a liar during his China trip, the former MVP doubled down on that statement by bashing him with a sign during a party.
Evidently, Harden’s feelings toward his former GM haven’t changed in the slightest.
With that in mind, NBA insider Shams Charania revealed in an appearance on The Pat McAfee Show that Harden is still adamant about playing for the Los Angeles Clippers.
"James Harden still wants a trade and I think he wants a trade to the Clippers..
The Sixers aren't really sure if he's gonna report to training camp next week and we'll see what happens there" ~ @ShamsCharania#PMSLive pic.twitter.com/JdA4coZXzl

More than that, he reported that there’s uncertainty regarding Harden’s availability at training camp, meaning that things could escalate in the next week.
According to several reports, the Clippers were done pursuing Harden, mostly because they weren’t willing to meet Morey’s steep asking price for him.
Morey has a history of overvaluing his assets, and teams aren’t willing to take such a big risk on an aging and injury-prone player with a history of leaving his teams.
Harden’s market value isn’t as high as it used to be; otherwise he would’ve gotten a better deal in free agency and wouldn’t have had to settle for less to come back with the Sixers.
His trade value could drop by the day if he doesn’t show up to training camp, so Morey might have to make an uncomfortable decision sooner rather than later, especially with multiple contenders shifting their attention to Jrue Holiday.
