Victor Oladipo’s NBA career has been a rollercoaster.
But as tough as things have been for him from time to time, he just won’t give up.
According to Heat insider Anthony Chiang, the former No. 2 pick intends to keep playing after suffering yet another gruesome and potentially career-ending injury.

Oladipo was escorted off the court in the Heat’s Game 3 win over the Milwaukee Bucks, and fans speculated this could be the end of the line for him.
He’s endured multiple major injuries and has had a tough time getting back in shape and finding playing time, so it wouldn’t be crazy to think he would be willing to call it quits.
Oladipo entered the league with high praise, but it took him a while before figuring things out, even being demoted to the second unit.
He broke out as a star with the Oklahoma City Thunder and Indiana Pacers, emerging as one of the best two-way players in the league and winning the Most Improved Player award.
Notably, Oladipo turned down a lucrative contract extension before all that injuries, so he later had to settle for lesser deals and fewer minutes as well.
It’s a shame to see such a promising career derailed by major injuries, and the sole fact that he’s still determined to be back on the floor speaks volumes of his character, determination, and love for the game of basketball.
So, let’s all hope for a speedy recovery and to see him back on the floor in no time, hopefully with no more injuries in his future.
