In terms of talent, there isn’t much of it on the current Arizona Cardinals roster, which is why they’ve only been able to win two of their 12 games this season.
It sounds like they might have a little more help in their attempt for their third win of the year when they travel to take on the Pittsburgh Steelers this weekend.
According to PHNX Cardinals’ Bo Brack on Twitter, Cardinals head coach Jonathan Gannon said on Friday that veteran wide receiver Marquise Brown is “trending in the right direction” in terms of playing on Sunday.

Brown has appeared in all 12 of Arizona’s games this season, but he’s currently dealing with a heel injury.
The Cardinals wide receiver was able to play through the injury during the team’s loss to the Los Angeles Rams last Sunday, and it sounds like the team is optimistic about him suiting up against Pittsburgh.
In 12 games this season, Brown has hauled in 51 passes for 574 yards and four touchdowns.
Arizona and their top wide receiver will be going up against a Steelers defense that has only allowed one of their opponents this season to finish a game with more than 300 passing yards.
So, regardless of whether Brown plays or not, the Cardinals can expect to have a difficult time when it comes to moving the ball up and down the field against the Steelers on Sunday.
The Cardinals will be looking for their first win in Pittsburgh since 1969 this weekend.
