Despite threats of a holdout, the San Francisco 49ers had veteran wide receiver Jauan Jennings on the field for their season opener.
Unfortunately, he left the game against the Seattle Seahawks with a shoulder injury.
An MRI reportedly revealed no structural damage, and it seems there is nothing to be overly concerned about.
“At this point, it does not appear Jauan Jennings’ shoulder injury is serious. Some good injury news after a rough one on Monday,” NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport wrote on X.

Jennings had two catches for 16 yards before leaving in the second half.
The Niners gave Jennings a slight modification to his current contract that could allow him to earn up to $3 million more based on playing time, so he should be rushing to get back on the field.
Once again, injuries are a big talking point with San Francisco.
Tight end George Kittle will miss “multiple weeks,” according to Rapoport, after leaving the opener with a hamstring injury.
Quarterback Brock Purdy injured his shoulder and toe, with the latter ailment reportedly more serious than the former.
If he can’t play in Week 2 against the New Orleans Saints, Mac Jones would take the reins of the offense.
Last but not least, starting left guard Ben Bartch suffered a knee sprain and is considered day to day.
The Niners may have won their first game, but roster health will be a major concern going forward.
