The Miami Dolphins take on the Las Vegas Raiders in this Week 3 NFL matchup.
The Raiders are having an incredible start to the 2021 season jumping out to a 2-0 start.

This is a pattern with Las Vegas in recent years; the team starts strong but begins to fall apart in the middle to later stages of the season.
Fans wonder if this year will be different because the team scored huge victories over the Baltimore Ravens and Pittsburgh Steelers to kick off the 2021 season.
Miami is 1-1 and already at a quarterback crossroads.
Dolphins QB Tua Tagovailoa has fractured ribs and will not play Sunday against the Raiders, head coach Brian Flores announced.

Starter Tua Tagovailoa is out for the game after suffering fractured ribs against the Buffalo Bills so the ball is handed to backup quarterback Jacoby Brissett.
Brissett faced the Raiders one time before, as the starting quarterback of the 2019 Indianapolis Colts.
It was a losing result as Brissett’s Colts lost to the Raiders, 31-24.

These two teams last met on December 20, 2020.
Ryan Fitzpatrick‘s patented Fitzmagic was on display as he came off the bench and threw an improbable touchdown pass lifting the Dolphins to victory.
That loss also knocked the Raiders out of the playoffs.
Derek Carr is the only quarterback who will be on the field on Sunday from that game.
Carr was shaken up in the Raiders win over the Steelers last week but is good to go for Sunday.
He is the undisputed heart and soul of the Raiders team; their fate is in his hands and arm.
