LeBron James of the Los Angeles Lakers has had a very busy summer, between watching his two sons play basketball, opening a Nike institute in Oregon, and making appearances on the cover of Vanity Fair, among other places.
Of course, fans of the Lakers were watching every move he made very closely, eager to get a look at the man who will hopefully lead the team out of one of its darkest times.
And anything that James did received interest – including getting his hair cut.

James recently shaved his head and even that got a lot of attention on the web.
Some people feel this fresh look marks the beginning of a new era for James.
In fact, there are those who are comparing it to when Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant shaved their heads.
Following those new dos, both stars experienced great success in the league.
Will the same thing happen with James?
New Look, New Lakers
Faithful Lakers followers are really hoping that the different haircut for James will bode well for the team.
They need all the help they can get.
What are the chances that James getting a trim actually means that he will be a better player?
That’s pretty unrealistic but you never know with him – maybe the cut is a sign that he’s more tuned in than ever before and determined to win.
It’ll definitely take more than a haircut to get the Lakers on the right footing, however.
The team experienced so many problems last season so one haircut won’t fix it all.
If his haircut does somehow make him better, expect to see Russell Westbrook, Anthony Davis, and the rest of the Lakers crew line up to get a buzzcut really soon.
