The Miami Heat currently hold a 9-9 record, which is good enough to make them the sixth team in the Eastern Conference.
The team is known for not making many big moves during the regular season, but that may change this year.
According to Michael Scotto, via NBACentral, Miami’s Terry Rozier could be in the mix for a trade soon.
Scotto wrote:
“Aside from Butler, the top Heat trade candidates are Miami’s future first-round draft picks and Terry Rozier, according to NBA executives who’ve spoken with HoopsHype. The 30-year-old guard was recently moved to the bench as his scoring production is the lowest in eight years.”

This is Rozier’s second season with the Heat, and he has been averaging 13.0 points, 3.6 rebounds, and 3.4 assists per game so far.
That’s a far cry from what he was doing during the height of his career with the Charlotte Hornets when he was producing more than 21 points per game.
The Heat had very high hopes for Rozier when he joined the team, but he hasn’t lived up to expectations, which means it wouldn’t be surprising to see him on the trading block this season.
However, the question is where he would go and what other teams would offer to acquire him.
There was a time when Rozier would be a tantalizing trade target for many front offices, but that may not be the case right now.
As noted by Scotto, Rozier isn’t the only player who could be sent away this year.
There are multiple candidates for a trade in Miami, including Jimmy Butler.
From Rozier to Butler to more, this could finally be the season that the Heat shake things up on the trade market.
