The Miami Heat are fresh off making their second NBA Finals appearance in the last four seasons.
Despite reaching the Finals, the Heat are constantly trying to upgrade their roster in the offseason.
Previously, they were connected with the Portland Trail Blazers to trade for Damian Lillard, but the talks have become dormant for a couple of weeks.
Now, according to Chris Mannix via NBACentral on Twitter, the Heat are monitoring Giannis Antetokounmpo’s situation with the Milwaukee Bucks.
“Miami is certainly among the teams keeping an eye on Giannis Antetokounmpo’s situation in Milwaukee,” Mannix wrote.

The Heat are undoubtedly one of the best, well-run franchises in the NBA.
They have a knack for grooming young players into legitimate stars in a matter of a few years.
But even the Heat would prefer pairing up Jimmy Butler with Giannis Antetokounmpo if provided with the opportunity.
After all, no team in the NBA would pass on the opportunity to sign the two-time NBA MVP Antetokounmpo.
The Greek Freak recently made headlines after his remarks regarding his future with the Bucks.
Giannis hinted at leaving the organization if they fail to build a championship-caliber roster around him following the upset against the Heat in the first round of the 2023 playoffs.
If Antetokounmpo becomes available, the Heat are reportedly interested in making a bid for him.
But where does that leave the team with Dame?
Are they giving up on the possibility to trade for Lillard?
Only time will tell.
