The New York Jets didn’t just get an elite quarterback when they traded for Aaron Rodgers; they also got a savvy veteran and a leader.
That was on full display in HBO’s latest teaser for ‘Hard Knocks,’ which shows the legendary quarterback reaching out to some of his colleagues.
Rodgers talks about savoring every little thing that goes down in training camp, urging them to get to know all their teammates and not always sit with the same group of people, and letting them know that it all happens quite fast.
"Savor every little moment."

He should know one thing or two about this, granted how long he has played in the league.
Notably, some have questioned Rodgers’ leadership throughout the course of the years, especially when it came to younger players.
Nonetheless, it seems like the veteran quarterback has turned the page and looks like an entirely different person, embracing every chance to lead with his new organization.
Sometimes, all a person needs to be different is to change his scenery, and it became painfully evident that he wasn’t enjoying himself with the Green Bay Packers anymore.
Rodgers has already made it loud and clear that he doesn’t want his time with the Jets to be a ‘one-and-done’ kind of thing, and he even agreed to restructure his deal to help the team out in the future.
The Jets have absolutely everything in their favor to be a legit Super Bowl contender now, and it’ll be interesting to see if they can fulfill this seemingly-untapped potential.
